Overcoming adversities

Emile’s book is a riveting account of how anyone can overcome adversities and become victorious, excel in strength and build character. God created Emile with the will to succeed. Despite the difficulties, traumas and challenges he fueled that fire and conquered each mountain bit by bit to achieve greatness! With his persistence, grit and working with the odds, he triumphed over evil with good.

Emile’s experience depicts the fragility of a child’s soul and how easily it can become fragmented. The debilitating effects can be long term, however God is love and His love can heal woundness along with therapy as needed.

Congratulations and well done, Emile!

Very Helpful Book: The Will to Heal

“The Will to Heal” Pastor Emile Maxi, offers a compassionate, faith-based approach to healing emotional wounds.

The book guides readers through three stages: reflecting on the past, resolving present challenges, and embracing a hopeful future.

Blending spiritual and practical advice, it provides clear exercises like journaling and mindfulness, making healing accessible. Its integration of faith and self-care is a key strength, though it may not appeal to those seeking a secular perspective.

Overall, it’s a well-rounded guide for those seeking emotional and spiritual growth.

Book – “The Will To Heal”

Riveting, courageous, powerful, transforming!

I too, have unhealed wounds, so I am excited about the possibility of getting to a place where these wounds can be transformed into victory scars.

I believe Emile Maxi is inspired by the Holy Spirit to delve into an area that is often overlooked by men. Most of us as women are usually opened to facing these wounds, so it is amazing to see that this book will also open a path for men to do the same.

Book – “The Will To Heal”

Emotions hit us all the time but this book will definitely help in the healing process.

Cry if you must – this was the most striking highlight of chapter 1 as I listened to the audiobook.

Emotions hit us many times, I felt it when I lost my mom 9 years ago.

I would read or listen to this book over and over again.

This book is just what you need if you are struggling to heal!

Pastor Maxi did an amazing job with this book.

I love that he used his own life experiences to bring out crucial points. The fact that he showed how he went through trials and came out successfully, it was motivation for me to keep pushing in spite of what I’m going through.

Healing is more than letting go of the past, it is choosing to thrive in the present and have hope for the future!

Practical approaches

I’m still reading! I read with a pencil and a highlighter and have been using them both extensively, there is much insight and thought provoking concepts provided by the author!
It’s one of those books that you have to read, step away, assimilate, practice and then return and repeat that process. Beautiful read, full of gems! Thank you Pastor!

Deep, Poignant, and Real!

This is a must-read for all. Many of us have had a painful childhood, and are still struggling to make sense of it all. The author moved beyond the pain and scars experienced, to finding himself again through the support and love of family and faith. This will make a great gift too. Very well written!

Book – “The Unhealed Wounds of My Father”

Written with much warmth and obvious care for the human race!

I appreciated how it is incredibly accessible language to the reader and simplifies sometimes rather complex life problems in a way that it is not overwhelming for the person who may be experiencing them.

The thoughts are consolidated with anecdotes throughout and recaps at the end of each chapter.

The two things that I loved the most about it is the way the author is pushing and cheering the reader forward with positive reinforcement and encouragement, one can feel the author’s hands on their back propelling them forward.

I also really like the golden thread throughout which is ‘you are being healed’, speaking that truth into the reader’s experience.

It is so obvious that this book was written with so much warmth and love for humanity!
